POETRY

We walk through streets that whisper doubt,
where love is caged and cast about.
Their eyes like knives, their words like chains,
yet still, our hearts refuse to wane.

They call it wrong, they turn away,
but love won’t beg, it won’t obey.
It blooms in shadows, thrives in rain,
a fire bright against the pain.

Your hand in mine—our quiet vow,
no law, no hate can break us now.
For love is love, and we are free,
no world can steal what’s meant to be.

Invisible Ink

I write my name on windowpanes,
but raindrops wash away the stains.
I carve my thoughts in whispered air,
but no one sees them hanging there.

I leave no mark, no trace, no proof,
just fading steps on slated roofs.
If I were gone, would they believe
that I was ever here to leave?

Lost Signal

Hello? Hello? Can you hear me now?
A voice that’s breaking, fading out.
Static hums where words should be,
a severed line lost out at sea.

I send a call, a desperate plea,
but no one’s there to answer me.
And in the silence, soft and slow,
I let go. I let go.

Jordan Meador

My poetry is a testament to resilience, love, and the unyielding fight for acceptance. I write to give voice to the silenced, to celebrate the courage it takes to love openly, and to remind others that no amount of hate can dim the truth of who we are. This poem speaks to the strength found in love that refuses to be caged, a love that stands tall against the world.

Through poetry, I explore the quiet spaces between existence and erasure, where identity and self-worth are often questioned. My words reflect the struggle of being seen, the fear of fading away, and the hope that, somehow, we leave a mark—no matter how fleeting. I write for those who have ever felt invisible, to remind them that they are not alone.
