In this rapid changing world, everyone is running towards earning money. So in this rapid changing world, let’s imagine a situation. The last Lake on the Earth gets polluted. The last animal died. The last tree on Earth is drying up. No birds left and you are carrying and oxygen cylinder with little oxygen left. In the scorching heat, you became thirsty and finding water everywhere. You suddenly open your locker and found bundles of currency kept and exactly that time you understand that you can’t buy fresh air, pure water, a green tree with all the money you have because it don’t exist.

From more than a century, our planet Earth is ailing. It is ailing because it can’t breathe due to pollution. It is ailing because It’s body is burning due to high temperature. It is ailing because its body is full of holes because of mining, and it is ailing because we are cutting trees, which is created by Mother’s Earth . In simple word, we are torturing our mother. We call our earth mother . Do you know why? Because she has the power to give birth and create. She created humans ,to fulfil our thirst she created water to fulfil our hunger, she created crops to keep the environment balanced situated trees , but we humans are only trying to earn as much as we can from its resources .Accumulating bundles and bundles of currency, buying expensive stuffs, cutting trees and building roads , clearing forest to create farming land. Polluting air with factory smoke. Cutting trees for furniture and many more things which is restricting our future to a confined time limit.

I will not say that demolish the factories , shut down the big machines and live like an early man . Development is necessary with time once Mahatma Gandhi said environment have enough to fulfil everybody’s need but not enough to fulfil anybody’s greed. We are constantly snuffing out and snatching the resources from our Earth to fulfil our greed. If we are fulfilling demand in limited form, its okay no problem but the problem is there is no limit in demand and no limit in growth of population, and we a providing everybody’s need, but the question is till when ? Environment have regenerating capacity, but we are not letting it to regenerate because we are impatiently busy in fulfilling the greed and one day all resources will come to an end and the imagination I made in beginning will come true.

We are studying About sustainable development from beginning, but as the generation grow older we forget all the teachings and indulge in same race of earning money and negligence towards environment increase. We know every pros and cons, but money and economy makes us blind. When to country compete for increase in economy no one wins, just they increase our planet Ailment in more worse condition. When we see government is making airports, making roads, setting of factories, we become happy that development is taking place, but we don’t see the cost of development and the cost is degrading the environment.

Now this is a need of time for the balance growth. It is necessary that we should have roads, we should have factories and we should also have to do carbon emissions because these are necessary for human civilization but we have to exploit resources in a balanced form and give environment time to clean itself. To change the world we have to Transform our heart and mind we have to think for our future. Given the environmental problems we are facing, we not only have to change the attitude but also our lifestyle we should change it to a simpler form to reduce the demand to some extent. We should have a grateful heart towards our Mother Earth. As everyone is consuming resources and contributing to ailment of planet, we should also think how to conserve and implement it. We have to digest the fact , that if ecosystem collapse economy will itself collapse. The greatest challenge of mankind is now we have to help our planet in healing. Let’s face it, with smartness and bravery.
