TRANSFORMING PAIN INTO PURPOSE
ALM No.82, November 2025

Introduction
Have you ever felt like your story was too broken to be rewritten? I have. For years, I sat in silence, carrying emotional pain that no one could see. I wondered if life would ever feel normal again — if healing was even possible. But I’ve learned that pain isn’t the end. It can be the beginning of purpose.
My Journey
I’ve faced trials, disappointments, and deep emotional wounds. There were moments I felt abandoned, unseen, and unsure of my worth. But in that brokenness, GOD met me. He didn’t just comfort me — He began to restore me. Psalm 147:3 says, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” That became my truth.
Through prayer, scripture, and surrender, I found strength I didn’t know I had. I began writing my book A New Beginning — not just for myself, but for every woman who feels stuck, rejected, or forgotten. GOD used my pain to birth a message of hope.
What I’ve Learned
Pain can be a teacher, not a prison.
Failure is not final — it’s a doorway to wisdom.
GOD sees every tear and hears every silent prayer.
Restoration is possible, even after the deepest wounds.
You are not alone — and you are not forgotten.
A Word for You
To every woman reading this: You are a treasure in GOD’s eyes. Your past does not define your future. There is healing, hope, and purpose waiting for you. I’m here to walk this journey with you — one story at a time.
This is just the beginning. In the coming months, I’ll be sharing more pieces of my journey — stories of faith, healing, and rising again. I believe that as I speak, someone out there will find the courage to rise too.
“God Met Me at My Crossroads”
There are moments in life when everything seems to fall apart — when pain becomes unbearable and hope feels out of reach. I’ve lived through those moments. In 2005, I reached a point where I no longer wanted to live. But GOD met me there — at my lowest, my most broken — and whispered, “Come to Me.” That moment changed everything.
The Breaking Point
I was overwhelmed by emotional pain, financial stress, and the collapse of my relationships. I felt rejected, unloved, and completely alone. On January 28th, 2005, I attempted to take my own life. I ended up in the ICU, surrounded by silence and sorrow. But GOD had other plans.
A nurse came to my bedside and spoke words that pierced through the darkness: “My child, GOD loves you. Come back to Him.” I broke down in tears. It felt like an angel was speaking through her. I asked her to pray with me — and in that moment, a heavy burden lifted. I felt GOD’s love wrap around me like a warm blanket.
The Turning Point
Coming out of the hospital, I didn’t want to face anyone. I withdrew from my family and even my own son. But slowly, GOD began to restore me. He reminded me of Hebrews 11:6 — “Without faith it is impossible to please Him.” I chose to believe again, even when I couldn’t see the way forward.
Faith doesn’t always come with answers. Sometimes it’s just a decision to trust — to stand firm when everything around you is shaking. GOD doesn’t ask us to understand everything. He asks us to believe.
What I’ve Learned
• Faith is choosing to trust GOD even when you can’t see the outcome.
• Restoration begins when you get fed up with the lies of the enemy.
• GOD’s promises are stronger than your pain.
• Victory is possible — but only through GOD’s power working in you.
• Your waiting season is not wasted. It’s preparation for purpose.
A Word for You
If you’re standing at your own crossroads today, know this: GOD sees you. He knows your pain. And He’s calling you back to Him. Don’t give up. Don’t settle. You are being prepared for restoration, for purpose, for victory.
This is my story — and I’ll keep sharing it, piece by piece, so that someone out there can find hope again.
“The Turning Point of My Life”
There comes a moment when everything shifts — when pain meets purpose, and despair gives way to hope. For me, that moment was a divine turning point. Genesis 50:20 says, “You meant evil against me, but GOD meant it for good.” That scripture became the banner over my life.
My Turning Point
I had reached the end of myself — emotionally drained, spiritually lost, and physically broken. But GOD met me in that place. He didn’t just rescue me; He redirected me. My turning point wasn’t a crossroads — it was a divine invitation to change.
Through prayer and fellowship, I began to understand the power of surrender. The Holy Spirit started working in me, delivering me from anger, envy, and strife. I learned that true transformation begins when we stop relying on our flesh and start trusting GOD’s Spirit.
A Book, A Moment, A Mission
It all began with a book that stirred something inside me — a spark of purpose. From that moment, mentors entered my life, and I began building a new direction, one step at a time. I found joy in serving, in writing, and in sharing my testimony. What once felt like a burden became a mission.
What I’ve Learned
• Turning points often come disguised as pain.
• GOD uses brokenness to birth purpose.
• Prayer is not just a ritual — it’s a lifeline.
• Fellowship and community can be healing agents.
• You don’t need to be perfect to be used by GOD.
A Word for You
If you’re standing in the middle of sorrow, regret, or confusion — know this: your turning point may be closer than you think. GOD sees you. He knows your heart. And He’s ready to meet you right where you are.
I found healing in a church that welcomed me with open arms. I found purpose in prison ministry, sharing my story with women who needed hope. I found joy in knowing that even though I wasn’t perfect, GOD was still working through me.
“The Gift of Restoration”
Restoration is not just about healing — it’s about reclaiming what was lost. After walking through pain, rejection, and even a suicide attempt, I discovered that GOD doesn’t just mend broken hearts — He restores destinies. This is the story of how GOD gave me back my life, one step at a time.
The Pain That Led to Purpose
After leaving the hospital, I was still hurting. My heart was heavy, and I felt disconnected from everyone — even my own family. But I knew I needed spiritual help. I searched for a church, and when I found one, the people welcomed me with open arms. I felt GOD’s presence again. I knew I was home.
Through prayer, counseling, and fellowship, GOD began to heal me. I started to understand who I was in Christ. I wasn’t just surviving anymore — I was being restored.
A New Mission
In September 2005, I began prison ministry. I shared my story with women behind bars — not because I had been in prison, but because I knew what it felt like to be trapped in pain. My testimony became a tool for healing. GOD used my brokenness to bring hope to others.
A Job That Spoke to My Soul
In 2008, I got a job at a funeral parlor. Every day, I was surrounded by coffins and grief. But instead of feeling overwhelmed, I felt convicted. I had once tried to take my own life — and now I was helping others say goodbye to theirs. It was a holy reminder of the gift GOD had given me: life.
What I’ve Learned
• Restoration begins with surrender.
• GOD uses unexpected places to speak to us.
• Your testimony is someone else’s breakthrough.
• Even jobs that seem ordinary can carry divine purpose.
• GOD’s mercy is greater than our mistakes.
A Word for You
If you feel like your life is over — it’s not. GOD is still writing your story. He can restore your heart, your purpose, and your joy. Just like He did for me.
