when i feel worthless, an awful being emerges.’—un-known

‘The virgin becomes a mother, the little boy becomes a soldier.’—Louis de Bernières

haunting revelation during a snowstorm

i was not made

for this world

faith

some Thing

that occurs

one time

will not

be repeated.

one time faith returned

spent the morning pondering

pondering

pondering . . .

superpositions: do i exist here

& there

simultaneously?

entanglement theory: is there an opposite me,

an anti-me that exists here

& there

& do me & anti-me

influence one another

from opposite sides

of a great divide?

which led me to:

string theory: could this give

possible cause for

other dimensions?

fast forward to the evening

& the simple task my wife gave me: replace car wipers,

in other words,

take off old wipers

put on new wipers.

epilogue: after having gone completely mad,

from uselessness worthlessness,

i spent the rest of they day

in depression.

come morning i watched

hearty snowflakes descending

from another dimension

& all was normal

once

again—
